If you have young children there is plenty of space for car seats without having to feel crowded. The SUV has plenty of space for your kids to have enough room. The vents are adjustable so you can move it to your comfort. The vents for heat and air are on the top of the car throughout the car. The seats are very comfortable and adjustable for all types of people. You can lay the backseat down if you wanted to take a camping trip, and load all your fishing poles with your tackle box in the back. This vehicle is a great family car, with exceptional space. I love that it is keyless and push button to start. ![]() I also love the dual climate control and front and rear A/C. There are also cupholders in the center console, driver and passenger doors, in the third row, and cupholders are placed in the fold-down middle seat in the center row. This gives much more space in for storage in the car. The trunk also has a compartment that you lift to access. The front passenger seat lifts up to reveal a storage compartment, and there are two storage compartments at the left and right sides of the middle row. ![]() It also has a lot of hidden storage compartments throughout the car, which really helps since it isn't as roomy as an SUV. The drivability is great, the ride is very smooth and this car is easy to drive and gives a smooth ride. The seats are comfortable and fold easily for access to the third row. The Sirius XM radio is something I absolutely love about this car. The gas mileage is very decent compared to other seven-seater vehicles. I love the fact that it is large enough to seat seven, yet it is much smaller than your typical SUV since it is a crossover vehicle. I have many things that I enjoy about my Dodge Journey. This is a wonderful family car and perfect for someone who has multiple children but doesn't want to drive a huge SUV. If I bought another Journey, I'd get one with more of the upgrades (navigation, back-up cameras, back-up sensors, etc.), but even with the more basic model, we have the extras like leather and Sirius XM radio, so it is fine. We enjoy the leather seats and the Sirius XM radio. The drivability and comfort are very decent. It's approximately 15 mpg city and 25 mpg freeway mileage. The gas mileage is much better than large SUVs we've had in the past. I do prefer an eight-seater car, so we have two extra seats instead of just one, but seven seats is still enough for our family plus one extra, so it is a good enough trade-off for us. I'm married with four children, so a seven-seater car is a must. It's a great car because it gives you the seating of an SUV without the horrible gas mileage that an SUV gets. ![]()
